Bullet points.
Nov. 8th, 2012 12:08 pmThe election didn't require nearly as much whiskey as I thought it would. Also, Obama got re-elected! So that's good. Congratulations, USmuns - and people on my flist who aren't muns. Do those exist? I don't know.
This has been an excellent month for video games! There was Dishono(u)red and Assassin's Creed III and soon there'll be Hitman - it's like the Month of Stealth Games. I don't even like stealth games, and I still enjoyed the first two loads.
I have so many feelings about AC3. Haytham, why you gotta hurt me like this. I love you. Lee, why - why do you look like someone crossed Timothy Dalton and George Galloway? That's terrifying. Stop being terrifying, dude.
I also have a lot of feelings about Connor. And Aveline. Who are both awesome. Awesome, I say.
My father said two full sentences a few days ago. In English. Which made grammatical sense, although objectively speaking they didn't make any meaningful sense at all, being something about his dog eating all of the tea and how it might be political (I - I don't even know, you guys). This is big progress. I gather from my mother that his problems speaking are partly psychosomatic due to a lack of confidence - and he's always been very ill at ease talking just in general, and very self-conscious about people not understanding him. As I've mentioned to people before, even before August 2011 he rarely spoke more than a few syllables at a time.
- Well, I can't think of anything more to say. Oh, I'm doing NaNo! 12000 words so far. So that's a thing that's happening. We'll see how that goes.
